After spending 6 days in Lincoln - we are home.

Blake, this was your first out of town trip. You were so good on the way down and when we got you out of your carseat at Meena C's and PopPop Joe's house you stretched and stretched for about 45 minutes. I don't think you knew what to think about being all scrunched up in the carseat for 3 hours!

You were so good all week. People came occasionally to see you (you're quite the celebrity). We made sure everyone was healthy and washed their hands :) and you continued to wrap people around your little pinky with your abundunt smiles. You also began giggling out loud this week - it is the cutest thing! It is quite comical to see this tiny 6 lb newborn looking baby smiling and laughing out loud.

You also went all week without puking once...until today and you showed Meena how you can puke everything up your nose, twice. Hopefully you won't start doing it continually again. Mommy sure has appreciated the break in smelly pukey laundry! We are sure hoping that you can begin to pack on the pounds. Last week you gained a disappointing 1 oz. in 7 days...and that was after not puking for 5 days. I don't know where the calories went, maybe your thyroid numbers are off, we find out next week. We'll go back in on Monday for another weight check to see if Lincoln had some magic powers on you :)

The ride home was a little more eventful - 4 hours of non-stop rain, Scooby-do on the DVD player and you screaming for random bits of time. Mommy was happy to pull into the driveway and see Daddy ready to help out!
So now you have your first out-of-state journey under your belt! We hope to make it to the other side over the 4th of July...and thus starts your travels.
